Roma striker
Julio Baptista is ready to take down
Lazio on Sunday like he did in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
The
Brazilian grabbed the winner when the two teams met in the last Roman
derby and the former Arsenal and Real Madrid man is now plotting a
repeat performance.
"Will I score another goal in the derby? Yeah, why not, that would be good," Baptista told fans outside Trigoria as reported by
Romanews.eu.
There
was also some good news for Jeremy Menez on the injury front. The
French striker picked up a knock against Bologna, but he is confident
enough of making an appearance against the Aquilotti.
"My ankle is doing well, and I hope to score against Lazio," added the former Monaco man.
Marco Cassetti was also in good derby spirits as he sounded ready and determined.
"I am prepared for the derby," added the Italian.
Roma will be hoping to move further towards fourth place with a win against a Lazio side who have been struggling recently.
